Blueloo and Kaluha came to our rescue in mid-2006. Both were about three years old at the time. Kaluha was obviously blind, and after a period of time it seemed to us that nobody was interested in adopting her. The pair went to live with one of our foster families for about a year, and were returned to the rescue when they could not keep them anymore. Shortly afterwards we were able to find a new foster home for Kaluha and Blueloo, and now, at five years old, they continue to live happily with their new family.

Our foster families provide for the day-to-day care and routine veterinary visits for the ferrets they foster. The rescue steps in and assists with surgeries or other major health issues, so we need your support in order to continue helping ferrets like Blueloo and Kaluha. Won’t you help today?
